The sundial at Cemetery park, St Austell
This sundial was commissioned by Restormel borough council, (now Cornwall council) in 2008 as part of the towns regeneration scheme. The 3m polished stainless steel gnomon was made locally and the stone came from the de Lank quarry at Blisland in North Cornwall. It is situated in the town centre and is a popular attraction with locals and tourists. Many cyclists use it as a meeting place.
